So...knowing you two, you've already looked into all of this
but...I thought I'd do my part and do a little kitchen countertop research over the weekend. I looked up information about the different materials and then went to check them out in person. I know there was talk of laminate at one point too, but you didn't seem that into it so I left that out of the equation.
Now, at first glance, Corian does seem less expensive but in the end, it's not too much less
(according to the Home Depot sales gal...who I loved btw). And it really is a bit dull looking in person (doesn't have the same sheen that Quartz does). For you guys, I really think Quartz will give the most bang for your buck.
I grabbed samples of both!
