I propose that, in your next house...in your next kitchen...and/or when you are gazillionaires and budget is no option...

Now I haven't spoken to anyone who actually does this type of installation so I can't swear that it's super expensive. From what I've read online though, it looks to be a pricey alternative.
Am I crazy or is it pure gorgeousness??? Even in white! Can you imagine a pale pale dove grey?? I'm dying just thinking about it.
If this was a project for me personally, I would totally try making this a DIY project. And trust me, I've scoured the internet and bookmarked a few pages of people who have done it "successfully." I can't risk screwing up your walls though. And the circular vent above your range is an additional challenge. Of course, I'm sure the glass could be cut and properly installed by a professional in 2 seconds but...sadly, not by me.
IF you are at all interested in this option, I could make some calls and get some quotes. Truly though, this is just a lovely fantasy, and I betcha some simple, shiny, white tiles will look absolutely stunning too.
Something to think about for the future maybe?
